    Curling your hair

    Advertisements
So...here I am. It is 9 a.m. and I just spent an hour rolling my hair into rollers in the hopes that it will make my hair curly. My hair is really fine, thick and long which makes it heavy so it doesn't hold a curl for anything. I put mouse in it before I started rolling it hoping that would help a bit. I have tried using a curling iron but to do my entire head takes almost an hour and a half and my arms nearly fall off only to have half of the curls fall before the last ones are done.

So my question, how do you ladies curl/style your hair when you want it to look really pretty? TIA!

I actually use my straightener to curl my hair. It's amazing.

I use the curler that comes with a glove & that doesn't have the clamp on it. You just wrap your hair around the barrel. It works so well for my hair and the curls look flawless! They have them at walmart for about $20 I believe.

I use a normal curling iron and absolutely no products, because I've been told that products add more weight to your hair?

Also, after I make a curl, I hold it in my hand, while it cools down. Supposedly, that's supposed to help as well.

for me i have heavy hair, thick hair and its naturally wavy. if i want my hair to last for more then 5 minutes i have to get my hair wet, mouse, hair spray and then blow dry it and then hair spry it again and then curl and each curl has to be left in the curl for like 3 minutes and then that usually helps , or i cut my hair short and they curls stay with out any product. lol

Oh you're so funny but you forget, I am the makeup artist in the relationship, YOU are the hairstylist

ArmyCupcake , thanks for the youtube clip. I'll have to check that out and maybe buy a straightener.
