    I don't know about pros and cons, but I LOVED my triple barrel, if that's what you're talking about. For me, it was easy to use and I loved the result!

    I may or may not have used a hair crimper in middle school...

    I found it was easy to line it up. It was a flat crimper, if that makes sense. Like a big wide pleated plate.

    But if anyone asks, I've never used one.
