I chopped off 15 inches of my hair.

I did this a week ago, and DB saw it for the first time on Saturday. He is six hours away and although I didn't think of his response as I was at the salon, when he said he was going to visit for the weekend, I was nervous. Except for the occasional straightening, he has never seen me without my long, curly hair.

He told me I looked beautiful on Saturday, but didn't mention the hair so I wasn't sure if he liked it.

Turns out...he loves it! He texted me when he got home and said he thought my short curls were damn sexy. It made me feel really good!

Anyone else get nervous when you realize you've changed your appearance in a big way since the last time DB/DH saw you?

    Wow! What a change!

So glad to hear you both like it!

My husband is home right now & I just got my hair highlighted on Saturday. Even then I was worried he wouldn't like it. But he loved it actually!

Wow! What a big change, you're very brave. It looks great though, and I'm glad your DB likes it

@Debra -- that's awesome! Highlights are so much fun.

    And thanks, Violette
