    wedding guest dress ideas?? -help

    Advertisements
So I've only ever been to 3-4 weddings in my life. No clue what I should wear, it's a semi-formal outdoor wedding in Chicago in May. (it's DB's brother's wedding too and DB is the best man!)

I was thinking like a knee length dress maybe? with a cardigan?

    Ideas?
    TIA

As long as the dress and cardigan aren't too casual (like not a casual material such as cotton or something you would wear shopping) I think you should be good!

I pretty much always wear knee length dresses with some kind of wrap / shrug to weddings
I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so you can learn to let go.
Things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they're right.
You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself.
And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

If you're ever in doubt, you can always ask the bride if what you plan on wearing is okay.

I always stick with a weather/season appropriate knee length dress and a pashmina scarf as a wrap especially if the wedding is in a church.
