    Hair falling out?

    Advertisements
I lose so much hair every day.

I really don't blow dry/straighten my hair very much anymore so I don't think that's it. I know you're supposed to lose what like 100 hairs a day? I loose at least that much at a time.

I have A LOT of hair, and it's a good thing or I'd probably be bald at this point.

Any tips to make this stop?

Mine does that too and I very rarely (like maybe 6 times a year) blow dry or straighten my hair. From what I have heard, asked, and read, it's normal.

Wanted to add: As long as it is not a new thing that has started it is normal. If it recently has started falling out more then you should go see your doctor.

Are you on birth control pills? I know that can cause hair loss. You could always use a thickening shampoo. I shed like crazy so I blame my BC pills.

Stress can also cause hair to fall out. Whenever I go home I loose more hair than when I'm at school surprisingly...

If it persists, I would see a doctor.

I am. I'm looking up side effects of the kind I'm on and so far I've seen nothing about hair loss.

    I don't think I'm stressed

I hate this. I feel so gross all the time having hair EVERYWHERE. The drivers seat in my car is disgusting and washing my hair scares me.

I lose so much hair every day I'm amazed there is any left on my head. But regardless I still have a thick head of hair. I think it's fairly normal.

I'm losing a bunch of hair too, but supposedly that's normal a couple of months after you have a baby...which you didn't...so I'm no help

Stress, diet, type of shampoo, hormones being whacked out(i loose more hair during aunt flow), not getting enough water even, and extc can all be factors that can cause massive shedding. As long as you're not seeing bald spots I'd say it normal, and that you are fine. If it were more serve like you noticing that you where starting to bald I'd say se a doctor something could be wrong.

Only advise would be is try a better shampoo if you're using a store brand like suave, dove, or and of that craptastic stuff. Then also if you only brush your hair once a day bump up the brushing of your hair. It'll help pull those loose hairs out, and then they will be in the brush insteadcof all over you/the car/ extc.

    Signature removed due to size.
