    looks good

when its time to do the crease ill do a bit of color first make sure its blended and then keep building on top of it, to make sure its all even and where you want it to be. then after its applied i take a fluffy brush with nothing on it and just make sure the edges are blended more so theres no harsh lines.

I used a tutorial off pinterest... I used the correct brushes, very different colors (white, light coffee-ish brown, and nearly black) and it didn't work.

I think it'd look good with darker eyeshadow and bottom eyeliner

Did you use a primer? Primers help intensify pigments. So, using one can make a huge different.
