Help Calling all heel wearers Update in Post 23. Need more help.

BAND-AID® Friction Block™ Stick has a lubricating formula that glides on smoothly to instantly reduce rubbing on skin. It forms an invisible barrier, making it ideal for open shoes, and provides an easy, non-messy application
Do you think this will work?

I don't wear heels very often and every time I do I end up with awful blisters. I try just putting a band-aid where I know I will get one but it just ends up falling off from how (tmi) sweaty my feet get.

DH is coming home from deployment and I really want to wear heels but I am terrified of the blisters I know I will get so I am trying to think of something that will prevent them.

Any other suggestions besides a band-aid?
I looked on line and someone said spray you feet with deodorant since blisters form from rubbing and moisture. That kind of made sense but I don't know.

I've never tried that, but I have tried those pads that stick to the heel of your shoe. These jelly ones worked really well. I have the same problem with my heels rubbing and band aids always fall off because they peel up from the heel rubbing.

I have the same thing from dr scholls and IMO it was not worth it. It's not very long lasting at all, the stuff rubs off pretty quickly.

Yes I saw these to but I kind of felt like they would do the same as a band-aid and peel off. Did they stick very well?

Thanks! I am really not in the business on wasting my money on pointless products.

I have padded ones that have been stuck to my heel for the past 3-4 years. Never came off. The jelly ones I got didnt have a sticky side, but they didnt move when I wore them either. I've had good luck with them.

Hmm never seen that. I have a pair of heels that rub on my toes and leave blisters on my pinky toe. I have been trying to think of something to protect my toes so I can wear those heels this summer..

I tried the Dr Scholl's brand and it definitely did not last long so it was worthless for me. What works is the mole skin pads. You can put it on the spot and it will not come off. I also place it on the inside of the shoe to make it fit better to prevent friction and it always helps me. It made several pairs of heels daily wears because they were much more comfy.
