    Help.

    Advertisements
So we are going to a ball in March. It's the first one I've ever been to.
I need help with a dress. I've been told knee length or floor length. I'm just having a hard time with this..already stressing out. I found a dress but I'm not sure if it would be alright. I'm 5'1 so it would more then likely go to my knees or past. So if anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it.
This is the dress..just have to click the link American Living Bateau Neck Lace Bodice Dress : dresses : categories : jcpenney

I think it's a nice dress, it just doesn't seem very "ball" like to me.

I'd say the word "ball" usually implies floor length, but that is just my opinion. That's a pretty dress though.

Personally, if it's called a "ball" I would wear a floor-length gown. (Assuming he'll be in formal uniform.) There will probably be a lot of people in knee or tea-length dresses though, so you wouldn't be out of place in a shorter length, most likely. That particular dress, while pretty, says cocktail or holiday party to me.

I would have to say no to that dress. For a ball you really do want floor length. Nothing shorter than tea-length which is mid calf.

But as long as you don't dress like this you should be good. But floor length and covered are better.

That pic was ALL OVER Facebook yesterday. I've definitely seen a few of her at various events.
