    help with a dress!

    Advertisements
Hubby decided he wanted to go the the army/military ball that his unit is putting on. Its on dec 8th ( i know a week away) and I am not sure what to wear I know it needs to be formal. I don't have any formal dresses so I was gonna go dress shopping this weekend. He isn't required to wear his class A uniform so he is just wearing black slacks, a black and grey shirt and a tie. I asked for his opinion on what kind of dress to get and he says something short but not too short ( cocktail length) I however was thinking of something a little more formal. here are the links to a few that I have looked at Any suggestions???

Glitter Ombre Halter Gown - David's Bridal

Floral One Shoulder Glitter Mesh Gown - David's Bridal

Spaghetti Strap Mesh Gown with Split Front - David's Bridal

Thanks in advance for all ur advice and input!

I am not a big dress person. It was a struggle to get me to get a wedding dress. I fell in love with the first and second ones when I looked at them, He was saying though that it shouldn't b that long?

The regulation for pretty much all formal events like that is floor length. Though some wear cocktail it isn't normally preferred

the second is my favorite too! the floral detail reminds me of my wedding dress (which everyone and their mother compliments!) and the one shoulder is usually flattering on a lot of figures.
