    Another shoe thread!

    Advertisements
Yesterday my hubby sensed I was stressed and sent me shopping. I fell madly in love with these shoes:

What would you wear them with? They're fine with skinnies:

...right? What kind of top would be good?

This is the outfit I put together that I intended them to go with:

...but when I got the shoes I only had the tops, not the skirt, and I was hoping to find a light-wash denim pencil skirt, which was a no-go. When I added the khaki skirt the shoes kinda seemed too... neutral or something. I feel like I need colored shoes for this outfit. (forgive the picture, I don't have a full-length mirror so I had to kneel on the bathroom counter, and the light from the window was bad at this time of day)

So anyway, I can wear them with jeans but I want them to go with something that they really rock with because I heart them.

    Thoughts?

You can wear those with just about anything because they are a neutral color. They would look cute with the khaki skirt.

I don't know; because the shoes are so beige, you'd have to almost do something super contrast-y (like denim) to make them pop. But, I don't know how much beige actually ever "pops," do you? I think that's why it's beige.

Honestly, I'm curious as to what is suggested as well. I don't normally go w/beige, because it has a tendency to disappear on me.

    BUT, the shoes are darling.

beige would probably disappear on me too, but I'm so pale it looks tan. And you're right, beige is supposed to NOT pop I guess. That's why I was hoping to contrast with denim (I'm making up terms here, I fail at fashion), but I guess I'll just try them with everything until I get sick of them!

To be honest I dislike the shoes because they are beige. If they were a color I might like them.

You can wear beige shoes with just about anything.
