    Work Clothes

    Advertisements
I am extremely frustrated right now. I am at the point where I am tired of wearing the same few outfits to work! The problem is I am tiny - size 00 and have such a hard time finding cloths to fit me. So where do you ladies buy your work pants/suits/dresses??

Just a suggestion, buy in the smallest size you can and then take them to an alterations place.

Probably wont get much sympathy for being a double 00 but I used to be that small so I know how you feel. I have always shopped for work clothes at the Limited. They have the best work pants IMO

Express carries some smaller sizes sometimes too.

Are you petite as well or do you need the length?

I'm tall and thin, so it's hard for me to find clothes that fit well too.

I am petite also so I usually just get them hemmed up. The waist is my biggest issue!

Hmm. I'm not really sure that I've even seen that size before in a store (unless it was Old Navy with their random sizes). I know that my old roomie wears an XS. She buys a lot of khakis and stuff from Aeropostale. She's a teacher though, so she doesn't really have a super professional dress code. You could also try the Gap or Banana Republic. I'm not sure what all places that you have available in Germany, but I know that the three I mentioned have pretty easy-to-navigate websites. Returns are usually pretty easy too. I agree with SandyKay about maybe trying to find an alterations place. Another option you might have is to see if there are any clothing design schools around. You might check into their students and seeing if you could work something out where they design some pieces and you model it for them and you get the clothes.
Where are we going and why are we in a handbasket?

Petite Sophisticate is AWESOME for small petites. I always loved their professional stuff but I could never shop there because I'm too tall for anything.

I buy my nice work clothes at the limited. It might be a little expensive but they have really nice, comfy stuff that will last you a long time!
I'm short (5' 2"), so even getting the short size, I have to get them altered. I'd definitely look into getting pants altered, as it's usually not super expensive if you find a decent place.
