How to look cute after a long flight

    Advertisements
So, on Xmas day I'm flying to Missouri to see J. I leave SD in the morning and won't get to MO until late afternoon, and after that I still have to get a car and drive another 2 hours to the base. Also, I have to take into consideration the miserable cold that I will have to face.....so with all that said, I haven't seen J in 2 months, how the heck am I gonna still look cute after a long trip like that when I finally pick him up? Ideas?

bring a brush and any make up you might wear with your carry on bag...some facewash.... bring some clothes to change into? ..dont forget the deoderant ...not sure if that counts as a "liquid" ..its definitely possible, i always go in the bathroom once i land to freshen up

You can bring touch-up makeup in your carry-on. just make sure all liquids are in a 3oz or smaller container and housed in a single quart-sized ziplock baggie. and wear comfy clothes. Stretch jeans and flat boots that are easy to slip on and off, plus a cute sweater would work.

I'd definitely wear something comfortable, like a sweater with jeans. You might even consider layering the sweater over a tank top. This was you can be more comfortable for the plane ride and just slip the sweater over when you get to your destination.

I wouldn't do my makeup until a couple hours before so I would look completely fresh. So what if I look like ass up until then...I will never see those people again.

    to alllll of the posts

Whenever I was flying here to see DH when we were just dating/engaged...I had a kind of long layover in Atlanta so that made the flight from TX longer than it would be. I just carried some extra makeup with me and a brush to freshen up right before I saw him

I am so glad I saw this. I will be flying in about 10 days and I haven't seen DH in almost two months. We're meeting at the airport and his flight doesn't come in until an hour after mine so I have some time to freshen up.

Definitely carry some makeup, maybe one of those tiny bottles of perfume or body spray. There are definitely ways to dress cute yet comfy.

i had a ten hour day flying from detroit to phoenix to palm springs last summer and i knew i was going to be looking super haggard by the time i saw db so i just packed my outfit in my carry on so i could change as soon as i got off the plane. also had a travel kit with makeup wipes, a colgate wisp, mini body spray, a hair brush, and deodorant. it worked out pretty well for me. good luck.
