    I just washed a new sweater and it says to "lay flat to dry"...

    Where do you lay your clothes to dry? I usally hang dry alot of my clothes....

    I usually lay them on top of the dryer. It's convenient.

    Usually when it says that on the tag I still just hang dry em in my closet.

    I never really lay anything flat anywhere. I've washed things that say that and I just hang them. Never really had a problem.

    You just can't hang it cause the weight of the water will make it stretch. Do you have some available counter space? I'd flip it every couple hours so it dries evenly.

    I used to lay mine on top of the dryer or on the counter in the laundry room. Now I have this shelf thing you put inside the dryer and I use that.

    I put it on a board across my tub. Its best to follow directions or else the weight can stretch it. Especially if its a knit.

    I have a counter in my laundry room.

    Definitely follow the directions on the tag or it will stretch and won't fit as well as it should.
