    That stuff happens! Ive had it done! You will have to condition condition condition and work with lol! It will eventually go back to normal I promise!

    Before I straighten my hair I spray on a leave in conditioner w/ heat protection in it. (I did the same thing before I started using the conditioner.)

    My hair does this, in that same area!! I bought some Tres Seme (sp) heat stuff and its worked wonders... The hair in that area, for me, is a little thinner, and also more "touched"... so it damages easier.

    No, it was definitely completely dry. I know that straightening damp hair can also wreak havoc on it, lol.

    I use a heat protection spray too. I'm thinking maybe there was a little too much spray in that one spot and it just scorched it. Stupid hair straightener.

    This is probably what happened, it's happened to me before with heat protection spray when I sprayed a little too much on. It should go back to normal! No worries!
