What do you wear?

I know that sounds like a silly question, but i can honestly say Ive never been to one I was thinking something semi dressy but simple

Last year I just wore black pin stripe dress pants, a white button up shirt and heels. There was some people in dresses but not super dressy ones.

That dress should work. It might be a bit short though.

I wore a light blue chiffon dress that hit at the knee.

For *me personally* that's too short... This is the black dress that I wore for the Christmas party. I like tea length.

The one I was going to buy the other day from ross which is just like that one but obviously not that brand hit like right at the knees, is that okay or should it be longer then knees?

Mine covered my knees while sitting. I think it is probably best to keep it at least covering the knees. Remember its going to be winter and it is usually a dinner so you'll be sitting. So you don't want to wear anything that might be a bit too sexy

You want to look classy. His commanding officers are going to be there. If you wear something that comes above your knees, GUARANTEED people are going to try to get a peek at your panties (or lack thereof) when you sit down..

If you want to throw in a bit of sexy, get some raunchy animal print stilettos.
