This dress look ok? - Beauty & Fashion

Semi formal evening wedding in Missouri tomorrow night. Ceremony is in a Baptist Temple and the reception is in the groom's parents' backyard.

This look ok? It has a little jacket to go with it. this is my first ever "little black dress"!!
My husband and my best friend, both fell in love with it and were so mad when I walked out of the store without getting it! We drove across town to the mall and I ended up going in the same store and getting it!

It was on sale too! Got it for a GREAT price!

I'm a little upset still that my mom says I look "fat/especially chubby" in it and that it's "too revealing" -- but my husband insists she is crazy?

I think that dress is so pretty! Pair it with some strappy sandals and I think you'll fit the dress code perfectly!

Thanks hun! these are the shoes I'm thinking of.
They are clear with silver accents. Since the dress has silver and all my jewelery will be silver/white gold I was thinking it might look ok, but I'm having 2nd thoughts now.

Are those shoes comfortable? If so, I do think they'd be a good match, but I was thinking something like this would work really well with the dress and would be great for the occasion

Ya they're totally comfy - I wore them for my own wedding.

I really like those black ones... I'll just have to take a look and see if I can find anything cheap and in my size. I have a hard time finding shoes for my size and I don't have time to order anything online. I was hoping to not spend much more money though to be totally honest. The dress was more than I thought I'd be spending.
