This one, too... I like the cut and style, but it just doesn't seem very "young" to me, so I'm undecided...

I think the first one looks like a formal toga.
The second one is nice, but I think the cost makes me not like it.

I just can't find anything that jumps out at me right now... I mean, anything that's remotely in my price range. I'm looking for something for a *possible* event with DB and his family in December, but if we go depends on when he gets home from deployment, so it's pretty much in limbo. And I'm a bit frustrated because his mom is pretty conservative in dress, and so I wouldn't want to be too racy (she once asked me if I brought a sweater to DB's dining out in college; I was wearing a low-cut cocktail dress  ), but on the other hand, ****, I'm young and have a hot bod and don't want to look frumpy, either! But of course, this is all hypothetical, because we don't know if we would even make it.

 I think when it comes down to it, I'd rather wear something knockout and have to endure, "Aren't you chilly?" than wear something I don't love. But then again, that whole thing was several years ago. Maybe she's changed. I'll hope for that possibility!
