Get bangs?

It's been a long time since I've had bangs, like since i was really little. But i love the new hair styles that are out right now. I have really thick wavy hair, so I know i'd have to straighten my bangs everyday. I know I'd also have to retrain my bangs to not part, but im not sure if that would be that bad as long as i straightened them.

So here's what I look like now:

This is a good pic of my face but my hair is wet

This is a better pic of how my hair looks naturally with no product, not blown dry, and not styled at all:

This is the style I am thinking:

My hair is not perfectly curly like this obviously but I think the whole wavy hair thing might work still. I am not that great at styling my hair cause it is SO thick, so i don't like cuts that are against my hairs nature (kwim?). So what do you think? Should I? Can I make this work? Will it look right on me? Honest opinions please!

I'm not a fan of straight across bangs on anyone. It reminds me of a child's haircut.

What do you think about angled bangs or side-swept ones?

I'm not a Huge Fan of Bangs Especially ones like that With your Face i think it will make you look almost child like. (If you do get it cut though have them thin your hair out I have super thick hair and it helps with styling)

I just really wanna do something a little more fashionable i guess.

I DO like the straight across ones when they're long, imperfect, and thinned-out but you have to get them cut pretty often.

These are side-swept/angled.
