Jump for Joy All booked for the Ball!

Today I made my waxing, hair styling and makeup appointments.

    Grand total? less than $20

Waxing: Free (they screwed it up last time and owed me a free one)
    Makeup: Free (I Nordstrom)
Hair Styling: Something less than $20. We'll see after discounts.

Plus, my dress was only $38 (or less, I can't remember the final sale price).

So I'll hopefully be hitting up the ball for about $50.

(I'll admit my shoes are Steve Maddens and were more like $30. But I've had them for a year or two, so I'm not counting them in the final pricing.)

    I'm excited!

I got my dress at a little boutique-y place at the mall that was going out of business. Everything was 75% off.

Oh, and I bought it back in April. I figured it was on sale and I'd need it, so I just went for it!

    That's good thinking.

I'm going to wait til last minute to get my dress, but hopefully will find some awesome sales.

You should. There's usually some good sales to be found, even last minute.

I just like trying on pretty dresses so I wandered in, saw the sale tag and couldn't be dissuaded!

Well, pricing went up a bit. I had to buy a wrap for the dress - which was $8. And a necklace, which was $20.

I *almost* had to buy one of those sticky bra thingies 'cos the dress is backless and hot damn, they're expensive! $65 for the cool one, or $32 for the less cool one. Thankfully, I've decided it's not necessary. 'cos the idea of paying as much for the bras as the dress had me really stumped.
