Wow I have met the love of my life...

I tried these on in store. Words can't express how unbelievably gorgeous they are.

I have a hardcore Steve Madden addiction.

My favorite color also happens to be the exact shade of fuchsia that those shoes are.

    ....

Someone help me justify $80 shoes? So far all I've got is that they're $100 on the Steve Madden site... *whimper*

    I really like those.

If it makes you feel any better, I finally found some boots I LOOOOOVE. They're Nine West of course, and freaking expensive.

    I spend $80 on shoes if I:

    1) Have multiple places to wear them (can they go to work as well as out? Do I have a function AND can wear them out? Ect)

    2) Will they last more than one season? Are they trendy and I won't be able to wear them next year or are they basic and I can wear them no matter what?

    3) Will they match the majority of my wardrobe that I wear often?

    4) If I don't get them am I going to regret it when they aren't for sale anymore?

If the above 3 don't apply I go with cheaper shoes...if they do, I get the more expensive ones. 4 is a bonus

Would they get a lot of use? How often do you spoil yourself? A girl REALLY needs to spoil herself every so often.

Oh, my. Hmm. Well, how often will you wear them? How long will they last? Often, and quite a while, I'm assuming?

Okay, so if you wear them 20 times (I'm low-balling it) over their lifetime, then you will have paid $4 to wear them each time. And that's just monetary value, it doesn't take into account the value you'll get from the compliments you'll receive, the self-confidence from wearing such amazing shoes, the you'll probably get after a night of wearing them out...

Yeah, I'd say totally worth it. For reals, though, I think that if you have the money to spare, $80 is a fair investment in a pair of heels that are comfortable, well-made, and that make you feel amazing. Get 'em, girl!

    3) Will they match the majority of my wardrobe that I wear often? Oh yeah.

    4) If I don't get them am I going to regret it when they aren't for sale anymore? Probably. But if I buy them I'll probably not wear them as much as I wished, and regret the $80. Hence the controversy.

See bolded responses. I appreciate the advice!

    My current goals:

    1) Comfortable. As in more than 4 hours continuous wear.

    2) Close-toed. I live in a rainy city.

    ...

Yeah, that's it. Oh, and I'm cheap and a Steve Madden Whore.

I'm considering waiting until they hit Nordstrom Rack and stalking it for a few months.. but that's hit or miss.
