    Flat Iron recommendations.

Soo I suck at all things girly.

I need something that will make my curls go bye bye on command.

Right now I have a Bed Head straightener. Its meh.

I have long, thick, curly hair with tight curls.

Sooo any ideas what I should buy? I really want to stay UNDER $150. If at all possible.

I'm leaning towards a CHI but I have no idea what kind.

I have a CHI. It's black. I don't know the model but I love it and will never go back to anything less.

I got it on www.folica.com for a really good price.

Get a Chi. Don't try to save money on one the cheaper ones that will break or fail.

I made the mistake of continuously not buying a good flat iron b/c I didn't want to drop the cash and I've easily spent what I would have replacing crappy ones. I always steal my roomies Chi, it's the next one I'll be buying as soon as the roomie gets annoyed with me using hers, lol!

since my hair is not that curly nor thick ( ) I have a zoe.. i like it. However for my DD's hair we will be using a chi. I bought a revlon 2 3/4 inch one because I do her hair and a 1 inch doesn't cut it, plus I like to be out of there in less than 2 hours

    I will miss you SOS...
Please be wary of what you post remember OPSEC is not just another acronym.

Plate size. a 1 inch is good for like smaller sections ( takes longer ) and curling. the bigger the plate the more surface area you can cover. However with bigger ones when you are doing it sometimes you can't get as much pressure on the plates in the back kwim.

    I'd get a 1.5" or 2" for your hair.

It's a bit pricey, but I SWEAR by this straightener. It works wonders
