    Question Face Lotion

    Advertisements
I've never used face lotion before, mostly because I've oily skin. But people keep telling me even people with oily skin need it, blah blah blah so I decided I better start.
My skin is actually pretty combination now. My "t-zone" as I guess they call it gets SUPER oily, especially when I wake up in the morning, but my cheeks are somewhat dry. I have acne and wash my face with prescription stuff. It doesn't seem to work TOO well but anyway.
I bought some St. Ives lotion today. It's called Fresh Skin Collagen Elastin Facial Moisturizer. I pretty much just picked it randomly haha..it was cheap. It's in a little tub thing. Does anyone use it? Or have any suggestions for a better kind that preferably is cheap? TIA

oooh girl i feel ya on the oily skin! it's like kuwait up on my face! i've tried EVERYTHING to stop the oil and the best thing i've found is the almay face powder w/ salcylic acid in it but i've heard the same thing that even people w/ oily skin need lotion but i'm too afraid of clogging my poors. they say clinique is supposed to be good too, they have a facial moisturizer for oily skin

i use the aveeno positively radiant one! it seems to work alright, the main thing i look for in moisturizer is it having an SPF!

If I'm cheap I use Dove, if I've got a little more to spend I get Philosophy

Hmmm thanks ladies I don't want something that has medication in it since I already use prescription stuff. I just want something that moisturizers I guess. And also I have terrible blackheads on my nose.

yes not using moisturizer will actually make you oilier because your skin thinks it needs more oil.
You can also try using olive oil as moisturizer.

    I will miss you SOS...
