    Boots?

    Advertisements
I wore this dress to work and my boss and co-worker were all excited it'd be perfect with tights and boots in the winter until I told them I don't own boots other than Uggs. So what boots would go with this dress?

Would mid-calf work? I have large calves and have trouble finding knee high boots.

Yeah, I think with your shape it would make your legs look stocky

A lot of knee high boots now have stretch panels to help with larger calves.

Plus, if you have a line (such as the top of your boot) across the widest part of a leg, it will make the leg look larger.

A knee high will bring the eye up to your knees and give the illusion of length of leg and bring the eye in to the smaller area of your knee instead of a robust calf

You can buy knee high boots that are made for people with wider calves! I used to have a pair!

(I just googled Women's Wide Calf Boots.... and found a ton of great, stylish options!!)
