Question How to keep slingbacks from slipping?

    Advertisements
Do any of you know a good way to keep slingback heels from slipping?

I have a super cute pair of slingbacks that I plan on wearing tomorrow night when we go out to dinner but the strap slips off. The shoes fit fine it's just when I walk the strap slips off. So does anyone have any good tips on how to keep them on?

try adding those cushion inserts to the ball of the foot area (KWIM? You can get them from payless). They peel and stick Then your foot won't move so much forward causing the strap to slip.

I know I've seen things that you can put on the strap that will keep them from slipping. I've only seen it online though. If you can, try stopping into a shoe store and see if they have something. You'd be looking for something like this http://www.mytights.com/mytights/3328.html but there are different brands.

If they aren't real thick or anything you could try some hairspray. That's what I do with sandals that have stuff that I can't keep up.

double sided tape works great. I think Dr Scholls also makes these things that you stick on the straps
