    a problem with my face

    Advertisements
So I have a problem with my T-Zone, my skin is normally ok apart from that bit which is kinda oily, but my nose also seems to peel slightly, which ruins my makeup and just doesn't look nice regardless of if i'm wearing any, I've tried exfoliating it and making sure i moisturise well, i've even tried different types of foundation and concealer, but nothing seems to work...any suggestions?

My esthetician said that is usually because you have a lot of dead skin there, so when you are moisturizing, you are just moisturizing the dead skin, nothing is getting down to the skin underneath. Microdermabrasion fixes that.

Microdermabrasion would help. You may also want to fore go make up completely until its healed.

Do you drink a lot of water?

I try to drink water, but i know i should drink ALOT more, i definately don't get enough fluids and i'm working on changing that.

I don't wear makeup that often, but whether or not i am it looks horrible.

    I'm looking into microdermabrasion now

Drink a lot of water. Like a lot. I'd cut out all other drinks until you get hydrated again.

Also, take a multivitamin for women a lot of them help improve skin tone so it will help the peeling and flaking.

Also, sunblock for the face. Nutrogena makes a great one just for faces. Sunblock is your best friend. Also, wear sunglasses that will protect the area right around your eyes from sun damage.

I had the same problem.... I recently switched to using an oil-based face wash... and that seemed to cure it.
