    Hair coloring

Elllooo all you pretty ladies. Im definitly not a wiz at hair or makeup so I have a question. I dyed my hair dark brown about year and a half ago, it was blonde before then and I want to go back to being blonde, however I can not afford getting a bunch of highlights for over 100$ at a salon(thats what it has always cost me in the past) so if I buy the goods I need at sallys or somewhere like that, what exactly do i need to buy? TIA ladies

Have you looked into going to a school? It's cheaper.

When going from dark back to a lighter color I would never do it myself.

I agree with BJo Its best to leave that drastic of a change to professionals. Even if it costs $100 or so. You don't want to take chances with your hair to save some cash.

I agree. I tried that once. I was pumpkin orange for the three days it took me to get into a salon-- and I haven't done my hair on my own again!

I have to agree with them.... going from lighter to darker is much easier to do yourself then going darker to lighter... I would check to see if you have local beauty schools in your area or check out places like hair cuttery....

definately check with a hair school before you try to do it on your own especially since you already have blonde hair underneath your dark. you could fry your hair.
