    Make-up advice needed!

    Advertisements
I decided to do my own make-up for my wedding. I'm pretty nervous, but I just don't like the whole over-done look that so many brides have. I just want to look like myself on my wedding day!

What brands would be good? I'm leaning more towards Laura Mercier, just because their whole "philosophy" or whatever is simple and classic. I've heard MAC and Stila are really good though.

Any advice for a bride who's doing her own make-up??

    TIA!

I MAC. Maybe you could go in and have them create a "look" for you. I've had people at MAC do that before, and they usually have a face shaped picture where they can show you and write down what they've used. They'll do it on you, and if you like it, great! If it's too much, you can always tone it down when you do it on your own. Good luck!

I used to wear Bobbi Brown, and though it's a little expensive, their look is very classic. I also really like MAC. Just go in to a counter at Nordstrom and have them give you a makeover. Say you're trying to find colors for your wedding, and I'm sure everyone would be very helpful.

I'm a HUGE MAC fan. You should go into a store and tell them what you want and they'll help you pick up what you need and even try it out on you.
