    Bridesmaid dress

My bridesmaid dress came in today! Ignore my hair. Would this dress be appropriate for a ball?

Nice dress. Love the color and the way it comes in at the waist. Having seen a lot of ball pictures on here by now my only observation is that the ball dresses are usually floor length. I am sure you will get better responses from those who have been there.

Some ball dresses are floor length, but this dress is a cocktail length and would pass just as nicely.

I think that ball wear is a personal choice. But, I do believe that they should be floor length since it is a formal event.

I'm thinking about getting a floor length dress. I heard knee length or longer is fine but I think I'd feel more comfortable in a floor length. I was trying to be cheap since I already had to buy this dress.
