Has anyone ever had their eyebrows threaded?

Just curious about it. A place opened up locally. I like the look but am chickenshit about pain. I won't wax anything. Does it hurt? How long is the growback phase? How is it better than shaving?

I had a lady start to do it and asked her to stop and wax them. This coming from the chick with several piercings and large tattoos I hated how it felt. I rather someone rip something off quickly then do that to me again.

Although it could be completely different for everyone. Someone could say it doesn't hurt at all

Yes and it was AMAZING. Didn't hurt in the slightest, and it was so clean and well shaped. i wish we had a place by me now. I got mine done before my wedding and was shocked at how good they looked.

Okay, so I get my eyebrows threaded and I love it!!!
I use to get them waxed like twice a month... but found a new way.
Threading is better for your eyes in the long run too... waxing pulls the hair AND skin, therefore your eyes will sag over time. Threading only pulls the hair, not saying it's not hurtful (ANY pulling hair is painful!) ha.
Oh and threading takes 3-4 weeks to grow back. The people have more control over what hairs to pull too... just my opinion.

I like it better because I have sensitive skin and always break out from the wax.

yeah, I've noticed that too... and the redness goes down in like 45mins, versus waxing is like 24 hours for me!!

I dunno. I have never had anything waxed so I can't compare the feeling..... I love the look. I guess I can tell them to stop? I'm curious!

I am going to try to find a video of exactly what happens. Are they like wrapping thread around each individual hair and ripping it out of your face?
