    Mystery Curling Iron

    Advertisements
About a year and a half ago I was at the mall in SC with my mom and we walked past a cell phone kiosk where one of the worker's friends was showing her a curling iron. But it didn't have the lever on it to hold the hair down. It was just like a heated barrel. (which was also some bright color too, not metal.)

I remember thinking it was really cool (because my hair is VERY fine and impressionable so it's hard to not get a line from the lever on a traditional curling iron), and my mom had offered to go back and ask her where she got it, but I said no, it was OK I'd figure it out later.

Well, I haven't seen one anywhere since. Anyone have any idea what it is I'm talking about? And where I could find one?
