    Other than shespace.....

Where does one look for makeup?

I have looked at Beauty from the earth and TMM but aren't thrilled at any of them. I was going to try shespace, but a makeup artist DH works with for photo shoots gives them a eh look else where type review.

I not looking for mainstream makeup site like Mac, Sephora and clinique.

Thanks for letting me know the bleeped out word.

Off to check those out. I need to find places to start building a kit where it won't cost a ton.

Pure Luxe is good, I have some of their pigments and love them.

Obsessive Compulsive is awesome! The lip tars!

And, i do like shespace, it takes a while to ship, but they are worth it.

NYX is awesome, and the colors are similar to MAC, but a fraction of the price. Google around for dupes, and their lipsticks are amazing! They sell direct on their site, but I shop at

The makeup artist I talked to likes shespace pigments for herself but not much of them for work. She says most of the ones she has tried have all been metallic, and that is good for some but not all jobs.

I am still going to get some samples but obviously want a wide selection to try from to see what I like the most.

Thanks for those links. Off to check them out

I agree with the shine on them! I wore them tonight and I had to find a way to tone it down. They do have some mattes though, in the pigment bar section.
