    Confused Hair Help!

    Advertisements
Ok, my scalp is itchy () ALL the time (with dandruff) and I think it's a combo of seasonal allergies and the shamp/conditioner I use leaving residue. I bought Garnier Fructis because I was on a major budget at the time and have since saved up money to purchase some worthwhile products.

My hair is long, blonde and very thick. I've found that tea tree products are AWESOME at relieving scalp issues but don't leave my hair feeling silky and I can rarely style it because the strands seem too brittle to put heat to them.

This is where I need help:
Has anyone found a tea tree shampoo/conditioner treatment that still makes their hair feel normal? Or are any of you lovely women out there using products that you swear by? I use heat protection products when I blow dry/straighten/curl my hair so I'm just looking for a worthwhile shampoo to start the process.

    Thanks for the help!

Sorry sweetie, I can't help. I've been using Pantene's Smooth and Sleek formula for years and have just started having issues with it myself. Anyways here's a for you. Good luck!

I swear by Garnier, even over the expensive stuff. You REALLY just have to wash your hair every other day with it though or your scalp gets dry and your hair brittle.
I like the "biolage" brand too. its all natural so its nice on the scalp and leaves yours hair silky. and it smells divine!

I use head and shoulders, we have hard water which doesn't react well with my hair or scalp, so it's head and shoulders scalp care shampoo and garnier fructus conditioner.

I use aussie, but I think it's leaving too much buildup in my hair with the climate here. I can't wash my hair daily or it's dry and a mess, so I have to wash it every other day - but aussie isn't cutting it.

    I miss Vidal Sassoon.

I might try the biolage silk stuff, or whatever it's called. I don't know. I wish I had advice for ya, hun!

I use head and shoulders for first wash, then biolage or pantene (depending on season) for the second and whichever shampoo brand for conditioner. I have to do the "repeat" so I use two different kinds of shampoo on my hair. My hair is VERY think and VERY long, but I dont put any styling products in it and that really makes it look wonderful.

I'd suggest Head and shoulders dry scalp care or Pantene Pro-v. You probably want moisturizing.

My oldest DD has the same problem. We have found that washing her hair twice a week with Neutrogena T/Sal shampoo and T/Gel conditioner and then she uses regular shampoo and conditioner the other days.
