    Spray Tan

    Advertisements
How do they work? My mom thinks I should get tanned for the ceremony since my shoulders will be bare, and they are bright white. I've never been tanning and would rather get a spray tan but I don't know how they work. So can someone explain it to me?

well you stand there either in the buff or with undies on and they just spray you with the tan stuff. dont shave 24hours in advance cause it can like dye the pours.

Do a test run a few months or few weeks before your day so you can test how long it lasts and what color you become.

Careful with any type of body wash that has any kind of exfoliant in it - the tan will wear unevenly (back in the day I got a Mystic tan and went to the beach 2 days later- salt water is a VERY effective exfoliant.... I was a mess!)

edit: oh, and if you've seen the episode of Friends where Ross becomes an "8", some booths have sprays all around and some only on one side. Make sure you find out before you go in so you know if you need to turn around in them. Most places have a quick video for you to watch before you get it done.

Its not a paint/dye on your body that is going to rub off if you take a shower, its the actual pigment of your skin getting darker

    How long until the event?
Do you normally burn easily in the sun?

DON'T do the mystic. Get an airbrush tan! You will have to stand naked in front of a stranger while they spray you, but it is beautiful every time and they will make sure every inch is even!
