    Waxing VS. Tweezing eyebrows?

    Advertisements
I've never had my eyebrows professionally groomed or shaped before, but I'm thinking I'd like to. Which, do you all think, hurts more?
ATM, I'm thinking I might prefer tweezing B/C they can't take off too much and its just a couple of quick plucks....
But please give me whatever opinions, preferrences, etc. you have...
    TIA!

I prefer waxing but I got a 3rd degree burn last time and can no longer get my brows waxed tweezing takes longer so the pain is more prolonged

I don't wax or tweeze. I take a razor blade to them.

I prefer waxing because its quick and easy. yeah it stings but its much better they take everything in one fell swoop rather than one hair at a time.

    I will miss you SOS...

I'd be afraid to slip and then have no eyebrows... and with my make up skills I'd probably draw on HORRIBLE eyebrows.

I like to go get mine waxed then up keep them myself with tweezers until they get out of control then go back. Invest in a good wax artist (wtf are the called again), it's worth it.

and you can also overpluck. why not go to the salon and get it professionally done since they know what they're doing. don't be afraid to tell them what you think and how you want it done that way no mistakes are made.

I ruined my eyebrows plucking them over the years. I'm no eyebrow artist that's for sure! I would def go get it waxed. It stings, but the pain is completely bearable. If you have a low tolerance for pain maybe take a few Tylenol before you go. The money is well worth it. They can shape your eyebrows beautifully. If you don't want them waxed, I'm sure you can ask if they will just tweeze them, however I think that hurts more- it takes more time and it's EACH hair versus one pull of wax. Good luck

My eyebrows are constantly growing. I use a single edged blade to pretty much edge them up, nothing drastic. I've been doing it for years. Waxing is out for me, especially my eyes lol. I don't like people or instruments near my eyes.
