    Depositing checks at UPS stores

    Advertisements
Can I deposit a payroll check at a UPS store?

I got my box of checks in the mail yesterday, and the front page of the checks says "Only single-party, personal checks are eligible for deposit through Easy Deposit."

    Then, their website says this:
You can deposit endorsed checks from U.S. financial institutions. The following check types can't be deposited:

    Cashiers check
    Money order
    Foreign check
    Savings bond
    Traveler's check
I'm sure this is a stupid question, but am I going to be able to deposit payroll checks from my job by using Easy Deposit?

(I don't qualify for the scanning/mobile device means of deposit).

    Maybe I'm being stupi

I have deposited payroll checks via the online deposit system.....my employer finally got around to joining the modern world and now offer direct deposit.

I would call and ask. It first seem like you would be able to, but you never know unless you ask.

I'm not eligible for scanning with my phone or a scanner. I don't have a USAA credit card or a loan through them, and you apparently have to have that to make a deposit online.

I thought that this was the standard rule in order to be able to utilize the phone scan feature, but I just tried it one day and it worked for us. And we don't have a credit card or a loan through usaa either

You only have to be ELIGIBLE for a loan of CC to use the scan deposit thing. You can deposit the payroll check at UPS.
