    Taxes

    Advertisements
I have a small tutoring business I run myself, just started. Can I file that separately for self-employment, even if I file joint with my hubby? I thought that self-employment came out separately and quarterly, but I am not sure. I don't know many of the s/e rules (will look before tax season though) and was just curious if anyone knew so I don't go wading through wads of paperwork.

you will not have to file seperately- but you should do your quarterly to save on trouble later.

when I had my own bussiness I filed quarterly and the the tax guy did everything at the end of the yr together.

Oh cool, great thanks! Found a book at the library today too with all the things you need to do, and seems pretty easy as long as quarterly stuff is taken care of. Thanks!
