Is this possible?
DH just got a new car. We can totally afford the monthy payments, but it would be easier to pay it with the mid month paycheck. Right now its due the 10th of every month. The loan is with Navy Fed. Do you think if we asked them to move it...even just to the 15th they would?

I dont want to pay it late, even if there is a 10 day grace period. I'm so anal about bills it'd kill me to pay it late

You can see if they will change it.. some places will some won't...
Or he can set up an allotment.. Thats what we have... For my Van payment.. Its due on the 5th.. And then our car payment is due on the 17th... So we just do an allotment..

we already have an allottment going into that account...$300 a month which is more then the car payment. So if they wont change the due date, we'll still be fine. It would just be easier cuz we have more money left over at the end of the month versus the beginning. That $300 allottment was originally set up for savings.

Our bank is military friendly, and they moved his payment date for DH's car for us. It never hurts to ask...

Most banks should change no question. As long as you pay the loan, and they know you're not just shirking off, they shouldn't have an issue. I can't imagine they wouldn't; at least every time I've taken one they ask when you want it; if not, maybe ask credit cards or something to rearrange date so you can still manage payment without being too tight.
