Pay Chart Question
I'm new to the military scene, so I'm clueless. Please don't mind my stupidity

Anyway, I was looking at the pay chart for 2009, found my husband's rank, and saw the amount of years. Now, is it the amount of years he's been in or been on that rank?

Also, it is per month or per pay period?

The years is years the miliary member has been in and the amount is the base pay every month.

it is per month- and is based on the numer of years in-

after the 3rd yr- the raises are "mostly" automatic every 2 yrs.
