W-2 question.....
I worked for a company for about a month. I didn't make over 300.00 the whole time I worked for the company. They closed operations earlier last summer. I don't know how to get a hold of my w-2. I have tried to call and the number is disconnected and I just moved so I don't have the paystubs.
Any advise?

That kinda happened to me years ago while doing construction in Tampa. Alot of fly by night operations. If I remember, I just told them that they went out of business and will not answer my calls. Its been a long time, but I think they may take your word for it and let it go.

go to www.irs.gov and look around to be sure, but I believe that income below a certain amount, (and it's MUCH higher than 300), doesn't need to be declared.
