Yes, I did... It was a bit more than 90 days out because I took 2.5 months of terminal leave.

DH is a Marine, but he took his a week ago and we have under 50 days left.

yeah dh took his about 60 or so but yeah before he got out

I think it is required. A friend of ours took it about 30ish days before he got out.

John told me its required for everyone getting out. He said he has to take it 90 days before his last day. Im just wondering if its always 90 or what. It sounds like its a case by case deal.

Toby took it like 2 weeks before we left Hawaii and about 30ish days before he was out. It was required for him

We also took a class together about him seperating and us moving and all. It was like a 'transition back into the civi world' class. It really helped! But I think you can go to TAPS with him

DH took it in August. lol I thought you had to take it within a year before getting out?
