Do you only get base pay or do you get BAH?
If you get BAH, do you only get BAH if you were previously getting BAH? Info: DF lives in the barracks. Is planning to take terminal leave 2 months early, will he only get base pay or will he get BAH or the difference of what they have been taking out for the barracks? HELP

If this is his first time getting BAH then he will have to turn in a lease and request for BAH. I think this is a tricky situation.
If he is unmarried and E4 and below on shore duty then his is authorized BAH but like I mentioned has to go through the steps to get it as it's not an automatic thing. |

he is unmarried, E-5. so basically he will need to request BAH since he'll be moving out of the barracks as he is taking terminal leave and they will pay him BAH based on how long he is still technically "active" while on terminal leave, so in our case 60 days or approx 2 months worth? ahhhh SOOO confusing
