just wondering what kinda jobs are out there for SO's who are leaving the military.... DH mentioned like police officer, homeland security, etc.

DH is a DOD contractor, but he's still in Guards..

My DH is National Guard, SGT. and his civilian job is a deputy sheriff.

he is an E5.. he has applied for the local sherrif office as well but we won't know if he gets out this year or next year until the end of this week.
