Lockheed Martin - After Active Duty

Anyone have any experience with them or have a SO work for them?

Ryan got some emails from a headhunter or wtfever they are called there about a year ago, but now that we are closer to his EAOS, we're researching again and it looks like a great company to work for. Any info you care to share?

DH's dad works there...has for a VERY long time. He likes it. says its a great company.
DH has thought about working there after getting out(IF he gets out).

From what I've heard it's an awesome company. I knew a lot of people who worked for them, some previous military, and many people who'd been there for a long time. From what I've heard it's a great company to work for. DH is considering them as an option after he retires.

They are an awesome company and I know several of the Head Hunters. We have given them 4 of our Sailors.

my brother works for them. he has a great job and has been stable throughout this economic crisis. if you have the opportunity, i'd take it!

My mom works for Boeing which of course is a pretty similar deal..and she's loved it. She said Lockheed is a respectable company

I would have loved a position with Lockheed Martin. I ended up with a brief contractor position with General Dynamics, and realistically most of the large contracting corporations (GD, LM, NG, SAIC, CACI, etc) are pretty similar.

If he's offered a position, I'd jump on that bad boy. It's good money, and a pretty solid future as far as contract jobs go.
