Terrified!

I'm having a minor meltdown with him getting out.

We only have two months until we leave Japan and four months until he's out of the Navy. Our entire life together has been funded by the Navy and I'm kind of scared to do it on our own!

I haven't had a real job in five years.

DJ has been working since he was fifteen and wants to take about 4 months off. I'm terrified that my income won't be able to support us. He was talking about filing for unemployment for a few months to help until his GI Bill or the Voc Rehab Program kicks in to supplement our pay. He's also going to be considered partially disabled (who knows what percentage the VA will give him - hopefully it's at least 30% because then they give extra $ for me).

I'm terrified that we won't have any insurance. You can COBRA the TriCare insurance but it costs $1989/90 days. Our insurance pretty much runs out ON March 5, 2008. Yeah and I'm on SEVEN different medications right now.

Let's not get into the fact that we have no house, no car, no job, very little savings.

DJ could literally see the stress on my face and slid a posty note over to me, it said: We'll be OK! I love you. (So I teared up. )

And he wonders why I can't fall asleep at night.

It just seems all the more daunting because we're seperating from Japan. Well, no. We're relocating from Japan. He's seperating in Bangor.

I know what you mean, the civilian world totally terrifies me.

I've made it before on my own, but it seems really scary right now!

I did the same thing when I got out in 98, I stressed and stressed. Then things worked out.
