Well, I'm a military brat and was originally born in Japan but have lived all over.
I've only been here since December and there's mainly been snow and rain with a few sunny days mixed in. I've been told by several people who have lived here for a couple of years that the weather is generally dreary and gloomy year round with it's fair share of rain and fog.
For the most part, the people I've encountered have all been nice as long as you're nice to them. They can be a bit pushy when it comes to driving but that could just be me because I'm learning to drive a manual for the first time over here. They do have a more dry, slap-stick type of humor that can be hard to follow sometimes because of their accent but their generally willing to repeat things for you to help you out.
