There is a trick to giving your new computer access privileges to get to the data, its been a couple years since Ive done it (so I dont remember the steps off the top of my head) but I didn't need any third party software. All it cost me was the housing for the harddrive.

Thanks - putting it into the housing didn't work. I could view files but not the ones I was looking for because it wouldn't show them. With it in the housing I need the program to suck the files off.
