i loooove driving along the blueridge parkway, its gorgeous! you can pull over and go down hiking trails. i've climbed waterfalls and went all around and down in the mountains. it was beautiful.

and yes, downtown asheville is adorable - lots of shops and places to eat. check and see if there are gonna be any festivals or fairs while you're there. last time i was in asheville, there happened to be a HUGE arts and crafts fest, it was awesome.

chimney rock is gorgeous! a must see for sure.

there's also an art museum, tons of good local places to eat at, i think at biltmore there's an awesome restaurant and winery... and depending when you go, outdoorsy stuff is endless - whitewater rafting, hiking, nature trails, kayaking, etc. ... there's water and mountains and forest, its soooo pretty!

i found this museum, its free admission and looks pretty neat... the NC homespun museum: http://grovewood.com/homespun_museum.php

i asheville, i hope yall have so much fun!
