After months of trying to get an appt for ODS (to have him evaluated, not for ADD but some sort of learning disability or delay), it's finally happening. I've been trying to do this since the beginning of the year, but ODS's teacher lost her paperwork and I had to get a new set, and then mine disappeared in the mail and I had to resubmit it all...but
He's finally being seen!!!!

that the school schedules his testing date soon. We're pretty sure there is some sort of Learning Disability but we can't figure out what specifically it is. Finally after 2 1/2 LONG years, we have convinced them that this needs to be done. He's sooooooooooooo far behind it's terrible. At this point, he's still trying to get the basics figured out and the class has moved on to harder concepts (specifically math) and he's had the "snowball effect" going on. Poor guy!
I'm so relieved...it's finally happening!!!!!!! Hopefully we'll know something soon!!!!
March 31st is our appt with the Doc and after that appt, we have a parent teacher conference with his teacher the same day.
that we figure it all out before he moves on to 3rd grade and gets lost even further!
