The Ombudsman and FRG are both command sponsored. The Ombudsman are your link to the ship, a way to get info to your spouse if you are hurt, had a baby, a death ect. The FRG is the social part. The people who plan the half way parties, social get togethers, ect. A way to meet other spouses off the command and get together with them.

Thanks and how do you find a FRG? Hubby is not actually "in" yet, he leaves for boot camp in March. So once I'm in I may get more of this type of info....but I dunno.
