It depends on what kind of immigration status you have. If you have to join the queues that people who have a visa have to, then I'd take something with a longer connection. They take forever to clear! If you are able to join the same immigration queue as the US citizens, then that length of time should be fine. Other than that, Chicago's not a bad airport to have a short connection at. The only problem you might have is if you are delayed (which, given the time of year may happen due to weather). In that case, they should just put you on the next available flight.

I wasn't sure if she was talking about just getting a connecting flight to another city or to the UK at that point. that really does blow if you have to check them back in after already clearing customs.
